Camden Harbour Inn

We recently took a few days to head up to Maine and grab some pre-holidays R&R at one of our favorite spots, Camden Maine. Knowing the area is not lacking for natural beauty (we were married here on a frozen lake back in January 2013), we took the opportunity to road test some new kit - the awesome, portable and fun ‘Q’ from legendary German camera makers Leica.

Our friends at the Camden Harbour Inn hosted us in lavish style sheltering us from the unseasonably damp conditions. Seven courses of spectacular lobster dinner is the cornerstone of a great menu from award winning Chefs, Chris Long and Shelby Stevens. Whether it was the luxe robes, the deep pillowed comforters or the steam showers we could not be certain, but the Maine countryside came off a shabby second-best to the charms of the Inn. Open year-round, the boutique establishment is expertly staffed by a charming team of locals that bring a great energy to really lovely corner of New England.

As for the Leica, we hope the pictures speak for themselves and that they do some justice to the incredible looking food. The Q is easy to use and delivers great vibrancy, detail and rich colors, packing impressive clarity capable of cutting through even the soupiest of Maine fogs. Thank you Camden, we hope to see you again soon!
